It wasn't all that long ago when Americans were killing other Americans for reasons that I can't justify...can you?
Note: I'm aware that Attaturk is contrasting the United States with Iraq; however, I find it troubling that this country still hasn't really come to grips with its internal violence...which augurs poorly for coming to grips with our propensity for inciting and/or engaging violence elsewhere...
