Just a thought: "ONLY" one car bomb today isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of the security situation in Baqouba, nor is it a particularly appropriate (if literal) description of things "looking brighter."
Oh, and from First Draft, I see that neither New Orleans nor the United States Gulf Coast merits a mention in tonight's SOTU. Well...in Iraq, it's procrastination by commission, down here, by omission. Shrub's giving up.
