Shorter Louisiana State House of Representatives
From 2Millionth Web Log

Read? What for?

Unfortunately, the amendment in question, which would allow the Gret Stet to receive the additional $98 million dollars for U.I. will likely get shot down, if not by the State Senate, then by governor's veto. Business of the people? Nah--Business of the businesses more like.

Still...ironic that these same nitwits who can't bother to read what they're voting for insist on pushing creationism in the science curriculum. Figures.

Oh--and let's subtract Representative Avon Honey (D-Baton Rouge)--and all those who HONESTLY voted "yes" on the amendment--from the picture above. Good for them. People who've lost their jobs need as much help as they can get.

But that doesn't give anyone a free pass on creationism.
