Friday Cat Blogging With Photoshop
From 2Millionth Web Log

Pop art edition. It didn't come out quite like I wanted (was trying for the full Roy Lichtenstein effect) but time to work on this sort of stuff has been highly limited of late. Maybe I can put in some practice this weekend.

Osama bin Neo-Con

Aside from the true fringe lunatics in Wingnutistan, it speaks volumes when supposed "serious" neo-cons openly hope and pine for a perpetual state of fear and loathing, if not outright conflict.

It's an addiction for these people. Violence--provided, of course, they're comfortably distant from it--is their crack cocaine. It also explains the deranged and even demented reactions to President Obama seeking to tone down the rhetoric, which for them is roughly akin to being told to put away the pipe. Instead, they desperately seek another anger rush/high...without regard to the very real consequences.

Where the Fine Line Between Sanity and Insanity is but a Distant Mark on the Horizon
From 2Millionth Web Log

Is where you'll find Michele Bachmann. Cross posted at First Draft, where I note it could perhaps be considered an accomplishment to be a car wreck, train wreck, and ship wreck simultaneously.
A Modest Suggestion

There--a minor adjustment, but one that might wake up at least a few wingers to the real danger of genuine creeps/nutjobs like James von Brunn--nutjobs who've been, to paraphrase a certain dim bulb from Alaska, pallin' around with wingers and assorted ilk for some time.

Still think there's no danger in right wing extremism, Ms. Bachmann, et al?

And, while my voice out here in the hinterlands is so small that it doesn't register on the radar screen, nonetheless my condolences go out to the family of Stephen T. Johns, whose death in the line of duty is no less heroic than that of any soldier in our armed forces. Mr. Johns will not be forgotten.

Of Course, Limbaugh's a bit of a Mix, Too...

Yep--half pig, half slug. The pig is the good part.

Actually, apologies to pigs, which I understand are fairly intelligent, unlike Limbaugh, who merely looks like a pig.

Frank Gaffney--Doing His Part...

2nd Amendment Wedding

So Newt and Sarah were all the rage yesterday...or maybe they were just raging, whining, and flailing for something to use against the Obama administration as criticism.

Which is what you'd expect from extremists who are utterly out of touch.

I'm curious as to how quickly Scott Roeder will disappear from the media's radar screen (my guess is as almost as fast as another Kansas resident who embodied conservative Republican values--Dennis Rader.)

Or as fast as one George W. Bush.

It's not surprising that conservatives want to airbrush out embarrassments--or worse. And I suppose it shouldn't be terribly surprising that the media plays along with this game--it speaks volumes as to just how 'librul' the media is.
