One big difference between progressives and wingers -- sure, I'll note the tragic irony of a Gulf Coast offshore oil platform blowing up and then sinking during the week Earth Day is celebrated; however, I won't try to pretend that it's literally divine wrath...no, it's a tragedy, plain and simple, but a tragedy that due in no small part to winger insistence on UNCONTROLLED consumption of fossil fuels. Not consumption itself, but uncontrolled consumption.

My thoughts go out to the victims' families.
