Ailes knows exactly what he's doing with stunts like this, and even though the Arizona Secretary of State backed down after appropriate ridicule, you still have clowns like Arpaio and Iowa wingnuts pushing the lie/playing the race card.

I'll give them points for being relentless...but it'd be nice if the real media, and not just bloggers and cable news, treated this with the proper scorn and derision.
